Celebrating three years in business – a reflection
Today is our third anniversary! Three whole years since I took the plunge and started in business. And what a lot has happened since I wrote a year ago.
Last year I rebranded the business, and that was a major milestone, this year I am celebrating the growth of a fantastic team.
It has been a really exciting year.
The main focus has been to ensure that not only can we support more clients, but we can also offer a wider range of support. Back in January, I took on my first associate to help with minute taking for a client in London, I then found that the demand for social media support and blog writing was growing and took on a further two amazing associates who specialised in this area. Next were more team members who could help with general admin tasks, copy typing, research, event planning, diary and email management and a host of other tasks. More recently, the team has grown again with experts in excel and formatting documents, and in design work such as brochures and lead magnets.
It has been amazing to meet with clients and be able to help them in more areas of their business, giving them a one-stop shop for all their business support needs and allowing us to really make a difference.
Over the last year, we have received such wonderful feedback from clients, comments like:
- ‘it has definitely given me peace of mind’
- ‘I can now focus more time on other areas of growing the business’
- ‘I now have more time to focus on better suited activities such as Business Development & Strategy’
- ‘I am now on top of my finances and am making progress with the business’,
We’re working with so many different businesses, from energy companies and financial planners, event planners and coaches to yoga instructors and personal trainers.
So as I look back (and a sideward glance at yet another award (VA of the Year (South West) for the second year!), I feel pride in what has been achieved and an enormous excitement for what the next twelve months will bring.
A big thank you to all of our clients past and present. Thank you for your loyalty for allowing us to be a part of your journey.
We recommend you take our quiz to find out what type of support you need to help you to create the business you want and you can download our ’30 ways to use a VA’ guide here.
